The objective of this course is to allow participants with an advanced knowledge of first aid to become proficient and confident in the practical application of their skills. Theory learnt on the Level 1 and 2 courses is taught at a higher level and is all done in scenario based settings.
A substantial amount of time will be spent on primary and secondary surveys so that participants learn to make the right decisions on the extent of an injury and how to treat it correctly. This will be by far the most important and beneficial part of the Level 3 course.
An additional statement of results may be applied for from the QCTO if required for Occupational Health and Safety qualification.
